Not even think that just “consuming” these plants without a healthy diet and physical movement will succeed to lose weight. But I can very much help in the fight against fat!
There are plants that help with that can accelerate metabolism and contain certain nutrients beneficial for weight reduction.
One of the most media plant for weight reduction is ephedra (a plant that used the Chinese 5000 years ago to treat asthma). However, recently it was found and its usefulness in weight reduction. Safety of these plants is quite controversial, because in high doses causes hypertension and heart beats fast and irregular.

Other plants found quite helpful and considered in fighting your extra pounds are:

Psyllium
